Our meeting with Ms. Viel, Mayor of Saint Hilaire de Riez

Find our article about our meeting with the Mayor of Saint Hilaire de Riez and Mr. Josselin Leclaire.

We had the pleasure of meeting Mayor Kathia Viel, accompanied by Mr. Josselin Le Claire, Head of Economic Development for the municipality, as part of a discussion about our activities at Blazeblock and our systems designed to protect against the spread of forest fires.

This meeting was an opportunity to present our Hydrodome system as well as two other models currently in the final stages of design—innovative solutions manufactured locally in Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez.

Our systems project a 360° circular curtain of additivated water, capable of significantly reducing the impact of thermal radiation, which is often responsible for igniting homes even before direct contact with flames.

A concrete response to a growing environmental challenge

As wildfires become increasingly frequent and intense in France (whether deliberate or not), it is essential to offer preventive and accessible solutions to protect homes, gardens, agricultural installations, and campsites.

Our discussion with the Mayor also highlighted the importance of a local and responsible approach that promotes innovation while fully integrating environmental challenges and the realities faced by residents of the municipality and beyond.

An accessible solution

We offer portable manual or connected kits, designed to adapt to all types of mechanical tile roofs and to be activated on-site or remotely, even in the absence of occupants. This ease of use allows a large number of homeowners to effectively protect themselves against the risks of vegetation fires.

We warmly thank the Mayor and the municipality of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez for their attention, support, and for highlighting our approach through their official article.
